Updated at 11:30 PM.... I have drawn a line over what I think will be the northern edge of the dry. There is still a chance this could fill in.
Areas north of the slot will stay in the moderate to heavy snow at times.
Look for some locations to top 5 inches and there could even be an isolated 7 or 8 inch total. In central Indiana, there could be an isolated 9 inch total.

These systems always surprise like that intense band just north of Indy that dropped 5 inches. Your isolated 8 inches sounds good. I think we hit at least 3 here in Louisville with those higher totals north. If we can get an intense band to set up here later on, then who knows?!

Hey John!! Not sure if you remember me but we recently moved from Jeffersonville IN to Indy. Just wanted to let you know what we are seeing!! We ended up with 9 inches on Wednesday and we are up to 6 inches so far tonight!! Thanks for keeping us up to date up here in central Indiana!!

Also, there is a very intense band over southeast Illinois (hitting the area that got 18 inches a few days ago)! Come east my friend!
