With Independence Day falling mid-week this year,we have two weekends to celebrate! There will be parties, family gatherings, activities and events everywhere. To help you throw a fantastic get together, I've found some great foods right here in our backyard.
Garden Gate Fruit Market located at 4411 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, www.gardengatefruitmarket.com, (502) 499-5275 is a family owned business that offers produce, flowers, a deli and some great grocery products. Most of their produce is KY grown or KY made.
When you walk into the market, you are overwhelmed with the scent of fresh produce that just invites you to come in. The friendly atmosphere of the employees is refreshing! You can certainly feel the love & care the owner, Dale Steinmetz, puts into his place. Open all year long!
Fresh produce, fruits & vegetables that are Kentucky grown are loaded with color & flavor!
