The temperature is getting cooler outside, the leaves are beginning to turn to shades of yellow, orange, red and brown and there seems to be change in the air. Fall is almost here and out will come those jackets, boots, sweaters, scarves and gloves! I love the Fall season simply because of the opportunity to wear layers of lush clothing!
One of the trends this season is opulent brocade. Brocade is richly decorated fabrics, often with gold and/or silver threads.
Not all trends appeal to or make sense for everyone. What do you think? Would you wear brocade?
By adding a touch of brocade to a dress, a jacket, a shoe, or a bag you can pull this trend off with style. If you cannot find a piece with brocade on it, try going to JoAnn Fabrics to purchase the brocade and sew or glue it on to embellish a piece you already have.
Wear brocade with rich colors of the fall season: wine, black, navy blue, or red for example. Layer and incorporate some shine for maximum impact.
