A cold front has moved through Kentuckiana, and now we'll have much cooler air blowing in from the northwest during the weekend. This will bring in much cooler temperatures. In fact, overnight lows will be the coolest since the week after Derby! Because of these cool temperatures, we could see patchy frost in the suburbs and outside of Louisville on Sunday morning, perhaps even on Saturday morning in Southern Indiana. Look how the cold air rushes in on Saturday and Sunday morning.
We may see some frost here in Kentuckiana, but that's nothing compared to the forecast just to our east. The Appalachian Mountains in West Virginia could get some SNOW over the weekend! Maybe even a few inches!
