Flood Warnings and Advisories are in effect today for much of our viewing area.
The Ohio River at the McAlpine Upper will crest on Friday at 22’ …one foot above the action stage, but one foot below the flood stage. When the river is up to the “action stage” we usually see part of the Great Lawn under water. When the river is up to the “flood stage” we usually see River Road under water. The McAlpine Lower is not expected to reach the “action stage”.
The Rolling Fork River near Boston, KY should experience minor flooding as it reaches flood stage this afternoon.
The Muscatutuck River near Deputy, IN should experience minor flooding briefly this afternoon.
