If you get a chance to go outside and enjoy this nice weather... take advantage of it!!! Even during the evening, the temperatures will be mild, but it might be a little breezy. We are well on our way to getting very close... possibly breaking... our record high for today. Our record is 67 degrees set back in 1989. With a little extra sunshine, we might be able to make a run at that record. We have warm air advection streaming up from the southwest helping our temperatures to continue their warming trend that kicked off this weekend.
A cold front will move through tomorrow, bringing some rain overnight and tomorrow morning. It's not out of the question to hear a few rumbles of thunder with this frontal passage, but no severe weather is expected.
Unlike the last cold front the brought the rain, heavy downpours will not be part of this system. We could pick up a tenth to a quarter of an inch or so in much of the area.
Even behind the cold front, the temperatures stay above normal for the rest of the week. And for those wondering about the Super Bowl forecast in Indianapolis... right now it looks like mostly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 40s.
