With relatively calm weather in store for the next few days, we will likely see the pollen count go up and the air quality deteriorate. Usually a front will sweep through the area and take away much of the pollution that collects in the Ohio Valley, but without any storm systems moving through for the rest of the week, the pollution will continue to collect. Right now, the air quality is GOOD, but tomorrow's air quality forecast puts us in the MODERATE category.
The pollen count yesterday was extremely LOW, much to the delight of my fellow allergy sufferers. However, pollen is on the rise now... especially GRASS pollen! Yesterday it was absent, but it jumped to moderate today and will likely be in the high category by tomorrow or Friday.
