We won't be breaking record highs today, but GAME ON tomorrow through Tuesday! We are expecting to tie a record on Friday and break a record on Saturday, but to be honest, we are getting pretty close, so one or two extra degrees could make all the difference in which days are put down in the record books.

The good news is that the humidity is staying low. We won't have to deal with heat index temperatures this week, which is VERY NICE! The humidity will be going up, but not high enough to make a big difference in how the heat feels. Currently the dewpoint is 50.

The low humidity will be a factor in the potential for outdoor fire danger. With the low humidity, dry vegetation and the winds that will be picking up tomorrow to 10-15mph, the entire WAVE 3 viewing area will be under a Fire Weather Watch for tomorrow.

Just a heads up on the air quality... due to the traffic nightmare with all the bridge construction and ramp closures, the air quality near the Ohio River and the Louisville area is deteriorating FAST! Right now we are under the moderate category for our air quality, but I expect by tomorrow we will be in the "UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS" category. I hope I'm wrong, but so many folks are having to spend an extra 30 minutes to an hour driving around trying to find detours and reroutes to work and back home. It's such a mess!
