Frost reported in many areas today...including Fern Creek/Valley Station areas in the Metro.
Coldest in the area I could find was 33 at Ft. Knox. Louisville dipped to 42. Coldest so far this season...and remains coldest since late April.
Frost Advisories still out for our northern tier of counties for tonight/early Monday. Louisville NWS will make a call on expansion of that into the Metro later today. We will let you know.
Lows tonight should about about 3-5 degrees colder than this morning. Frost looks likely.
Monday will be quiet--but Tuesday---there will be a risk for storms to roll in from the west. Depending on how the boundary sets up--storms could be off/on through next weekend---or we will see a dry forecast for several of those days. Tough call to make right now---so we plan to keep the rain chances in daily until we can nail down that boundary location.
I had hoped to do a Fall update today..but haven't been feeling well so I will try to tackle it while I am off the next couple of days.
Talk soon!
