17 Years Ago Today, Do you remember?

This is a storm I remember well. 

 I was on Spring Break at WKU so I was at home in Mt. Washington at the time.  I remember recording The Weather Channel coverage (still on VHS) of this event.  Talk about a heavy wet snow!!!

So yes, big March snows are certainly not unheard of!

I also remember when I was 16 that on March 30, 1987 10 inches of snow fell while Indiana played in the NCAA championship game. It was the last time they won a championship!
